Learn to Sail
The Quad City Sailing School is located right on the bank of the Mississippi river in downtown Davenport Iowa. Each season, new students learn and improve upon their sailing skills while enrolled in one of our many course options. We cater to all ages and ability levels. Our staff is comprised of US Sailing Certified Instructors who promote the principles of safety, fun and learning in all of our classes.

Do you dream of sailing to an exotic destination? Perhaps you are looking for a sport to do with your family or better yet, it is on your bucket list. Whatever the reason, sailing is easy to learn and unlike some other sports, it is something you can do throughout your lifetime. QC Sailing School provides education and instruction in two separate areas: Small Boat (i.e. day sailing), Basic Keelboat We want to make sure you’re learning in a safe, fun, high-quality environment…because if you’re a well-trained, competent sailor you’ll love sailing as much as we do.

- INTRODUCTORY FIRST SAIL - Try a 2 hour ride with one of our instructors before you commit
- SMALL BOAT LEVEL 1 - A beginner sailing program for those that are new to the sport.
- TILLER TIME - Is for members who want to gain more sailing experience before acquiring a boat.
- BASIC KEELBOAT - Is for those who want to certify their training on a larger sail boat.
